A Quick Journey Through the Bible

Many Catholics want to read the Bible because they know it is God’s Word, but they give up because it seems so complicated. Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible helps you get the “big picture” by showing how fourteen narrative books of the Bible tell the complete story from Adam and Eve to Christ and the Church. Presenter Jeff Cavins shows you how to read the Bible so that you can actually understand it. Aided by the unique color-coded Bible Timeline® Chart, which arranges the key people, places, and events of Scripture in chronological order, Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible will help you discover the story of salvation history and understand how you fit into God’s plan. This eight-session study program includes video presentations that explore all twelve time periods of The Bible Timeline Chart.

The Bible Timeline Chart

The newly redesigned Bible Timeline Chart is a full-color Bible study tool that shows how all of the books of the Bible fit together to tell the story of salvation history. It arranges the key people, places, and events of Sacred Scripture in chronological order, so that you can get the “big picture” of the Bible. This chart is the cornerstone of The Great Adventure Catholic Bible Study Program.

The Bible Timeline Chart:

  • Divides the Bible into twelve time periods that act like chapters in salvation history.
  • Focuses on fourteen narrative books that tell the story of Scripture from beginning to end.
  • Ties all of Scripture together by following God’s “family plan” from Adam and Eve to Christ and the Church.
  • Makes it easy to remember by color-coding each of the time periods … and much more!
